Moon & Sea started with one quiet obsession: the way light moves through jade.

Trained as a designer at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, with a background in both art theory and product design, I always felt natural jade was deeply misunderstood. Most people saw it as something heavy, traditional, meant only for older generations or special occasions. But I saw something else — I saw softness, depth, quiet beauty, and a kind of calm you can actually wear.

I chose Chongqing as my home base — a city of mist, mountains, and rivers, where the light always feels like it’s filtering through water. It’s the perfect place to work with stone.

I spent months searching for the right stones, experimenting with shapes, trying to strip away everything unnecessary until only the pure essence remained. No loud carvings, no complicated settings, no cheap shine. Just the stone itself, in its simplest, most honest form.

That’s how the cube collection was born — a perfect square, smooth on all sides, nothing to distract from the natural beauty of the jade itself. It’s sculpture you can wear. Art you can carry with you every day.

Moon & Sea isn’t just a jewelry brand. It’s my way of bringing together two things I love most: the timeless beauty of natural stone, and the quiet comfort of having something meaningful close to you. What We Believe
